About Our Society

Who We Are & What We Do

The Calgary Streetdance Society is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community development, youth mentorship and cultural preservation in Alberta. Through strategic arts education, high-impact public events and community funding, we establish sustainable paths for emerging creatives to grow as artists and leaders.

We serve as the structural backbone for grassroots initiatives, ensuring that local streetdance culture remains accessible, community-driven and professionally supported.

Leadership & Governance

Our society is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors committed to administrative excellence, financial transparency and community accountability.

The Board

Community Volunteers

Our year-round programs and large-scale initiatives are made possible through the unwavering dedication of our core advisory volunteers:

Josh Clark

Erin Munro Clark

Alana Schoeppe

Jeff Cheng

A core pillar of our society’s mission is the financial endorsement and support of grassroots community projects that align with our vision. We believe in distributing resources back into the culture to keep local scenes thriving.
