Dancing After School Programs
Empowering Youth Through Movement→
Our flagship educational initiative brings the high-energy world of Hip Hop and Streetdance directly to Calgary’s youth. Designed for accessibility and engagement, these programs provide a safe space for students to develop physical literacy, self-confidence and a deep appreciation for the history of the culture.
The Impact: Reaching well over 60 students across many Calgary schools.
The Curriculum: A structured focus on foundational techniques, cultural history and collaborative choreography.

Calgary Hip Hop & Streetdance Festival

This annual landmark event celebrates the global influence of hip hop while spotlighting local talent. The Calgary Hip Hop & Streetdance Festival serves as a cultural gathering point, featuring high-stakes battles, world-class workshops and public performances that invite all streetdance enthusiasts to experience the art form in its truest state.

Leadership Academy
Training the Leaders of Tomorrow →
The Leadership Academy is an intensive mentorship program specifically for the next generation of choreographers and community leaders. Through a nomination process in collaboration with Calgary high school dance programs, we identify emerging talent and provide them with the professional tools to lead.
Professional Development: Workshops in team management, creative direction and the "business of dance."
Creative Autonomy: Choreography leads are mentored through the process of creating original work for the Calgary Hip Hop & Streetdance Festival.
Collaborative Roots: Proudly supported by PULSE Studios and East Side Dance, ensuring our students learn from the industry’s best.
The Cost: This program is provided at no cost to nominated students, ensuring that leadership opportunities are based on merit and potential, not financial status.
